Three major projects are set to benefit from more than £1 million in investment thanks to the Levenmouth Reconnected Programme.
The Levenmouth Reconnected Programme was established following the reopening of the Levenmouth Rail Link, with a £10 million fund - managed by Fife Council - dedicated to projects that strengthen connectivity, economic growth, and community wellbeing.
To date, £6.9 million has been awarded to 15 large-scale projects, alongside support for smaller initiatives.
Now Fife Council’s Levenmouth Area Committee has confirmed the latest round of funding, with a trio of initiatives to receive funding following a rigorous assessment process.
The sixth round of the Large Grant Fund will see support for the following projects:
Councillor Alistair Suttie, Convener of the Levenmouth Area Committee, said: “These projects reflect the ambition of the Levenmouth Reconnected Programme to deliver lasting benefits for local communities and businesses.
“From heritage restoration to industrial development, this funding will help create opportunities and improve quality of life across the area.”
The approved projects were assessed against strict governance criteria and recommended by the LRP Working Group and Oversight Group.
Following these latest approvals, £1.43 million remains available in the Large Grant Fund for future projects.
